My partner and myself first selected Zeal to carry out an extension to the rear of our house in October 2020, during a difficult period in the UK due to Covid-19. Geoff was fundamental in ensuring the works progressed in a positive manner whilst maintaining the safe distancing rules that were in place at the time. There was always regular dialogue between Zeal and ourselves so we were informed of the progress and the plan for the next area of works for us to accommodate in plenty of time for the team to keep moving forward. There was a lot of additional works that we imposed on Zeal, but they took it in their stride and always found a way to fit it in without compromising the original works plan. Zeal were always on hand for offering advice and to answer any questions we had. Any newly exposed parts of our old house was inspected and surveyed before they continued, to ensure we had no long term problems. Their consideration to our living situation while the works were ongoing was second to none. Overall, my partner and myself were very pleased and satisfied with all elements of the works in which Zeal carried out, so much so, that we have engaged with the Zeal team on a couple of occasions within the last 6 months of writing this testimonial, for other areas of our house which required work including: Kitchen and Hall Floor Tiling, Skirting Boards to all of downstairs rooms, new Doors and Ironmongery to all rooms upstairs, along with repair and improvement works to our Chimney and adjacent roof area.

Thirteen years ago, my wife and I moved from Cardiff to Porthcawl and into a chalet bungalow. We wanted to upgrade the bungalow with extensive work needed. Geoffrey Rowlands was recommended to undertake extensive alterations. Walls were knocked down and a new kitchen built. An extended loft conversion was undertaken giving us an extra bedroom, a large bathroom and an en-suite. We were very impressed with the workmanship and building skills displayed. Over the following years further additions such as a conservatory, a patio and an outdoor cabin have been built by Geoff Rowlands. Most recently our back wooden fence was destroyed by the severe weather. There was no hesitation on our behalf to call Mr Rowlands and the Zeal team. Following consultation with Mr Rowlands a solid brick wall was constructed. At the same time we decided to replace the conservatory roof with a solid flat roof. This has really transformed and improved this area into a more permanent room which still allows a great deal of light through. We have also had the central heating overhauled and a new boiler installed. Over the years we cannot praise Geoff Rowlands and his Zeal team enough for their professional and skillful way in which they have gone about their work. From the advice and continual consultation given throughout and importantly the most competitive price given for the work undertaken. With the high quality of all aspects of building skills shown over the years together with the reliability shown, we would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Rowlands and his Zeal company to fulfil to a high standard any building work required.
